SAP Industry Cloud Solutions for Public Sector

Amidst the cultural and technical shifts, the core mission of the public sector, which is to protect the community, provide services, and help the economy prosper – remains firmly in place. For the public sector organization, the journey to become an intelligent enterprise is a collaborative effort between government agencies, partners, and SAP. The world is changing quickly, and there are many untapped innovation opportunities.

Through Sprint1, as a collaborative ecosystem initiative, SAP intends to co-innovate with a highly skilled and innovative ecosystem, to augment SAP solutions with partner innovations to help prepare the government organizations that is foresighted, citizen focused, and agile, to provide, protect, and prosper in the digital society.

The architecture for the Intelligent Enterprise in government agencies starts with SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) and business applications from SAP, including industry cloud solutions that support agencies with their industry-specific end-to-end processes. Partners are invited to extend, integrate, and build new applications leveraging SAP BTP.

Sprint1 for the Public Sector bundles dedicated enablement and supports selected partners who come with a curated use case to address the below

A. strategic priorities and a set of common challenges that all governments must overcome.

1) Delivery of citizen services with citizen at the center approach

2) Improve decision making with the use of data as an asset

3) Automate and redefine core processes for enhancing operational efficiency

4) Enable and deliver great employee experiences

B. Regional priorities with specific challenges to overcome*.

1) Ensure Food Security with a sustainable supply chain for the region

2) Streamline revenue collection and agency collaboration for taxation

3) Support Farmers by enabling them with informed decision making

4) Plan Education, Research, and Workforce Development as per the need of the Economy

5) Plan and Monitor Civic Infrastructure with Smart City Apps

6) Enable and Automate Regulatory Enforcement and Inspection for different departments

Who should Attend?

 

You should attend with a team of at least 4 members which should include Developers / Architects plus a Business Manager who can envision a business plan and commit to develop the industry cloud solution. You would ideally include people from your various practices so that you can take full advantage of the program.

Development Landscape

 

Once your use case is validated and shortlisted by the SAP Team, you will have to commit to build the industry cloud solution using SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP) services.
